Cliff Bobbitt has been working at Wooster since 2021.

In a statement addressed to the entire community on Nov. 13, President McCall announced that Interim Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students Cliff Bobbitt has resigned and that his last day will be Dec. 1, only a month following this announcement. The news comes a week after President McCall announced the resignation of Cheryl Nuñez – Wooster’s vice president of equity, inclusion and diversity.

McCall outlined Bobbitt’s contributions to the College, alongside his connections to the greater Wooster community. Bobbitt has been at the College since 2021, where he served in a previous position as associate vice president for student affairs and senior associate dean of students.

In a separate email, President McCall notified the community that current Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Senior Associate Dean of Students Ashley Reid will serve in Bobbitt’s position active at the time of communication. Reid will serve in the president’s cabinet and oversee the following offices: Dean of Students, Student Rights and Responsibilities, Counseling Services, Health Services, Community Health Promotion, Campus Safety, Residence Life, Civil Rights and Title IX, Student Engagement and the Department of Athletics.

Bobbitt was also notably the advisor for Scot Council. Dean Ashley Reid will fill this position.
