Author Jonathan Kozol to deliver lecture
Bestselling author Jonathan Kozol will deliver a lecture on his book, The ìShame of the Nation,” at McGaw Chapel on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 7:30 p.m.
Kozolís book details the rampant inequalities of the United States public school system, illustrating the harsh conditions in over 60 schools in 11 states.
Kozolís lecture is sponsored by the Departments of Africana Studies and Education as well as the Center for Diversity and Global Engagement and the Office of the President.
