On Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, (R-KY) announced that he and fellow Republicans will push for a health care repeal vote, although their chances of success are slim in the Democratic-run chamber. According to USA Today, the House voted for repeal last week. McConnell predicts the effort will fall short in the Democratic senate; however, he made it clear that the Republicans will not give up easily. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin, D-Ill., said on Fox News Sunday that Democrats support the bill overall but are willing to make improvements.
