Moira Miller ’27

The sound of her voice is hypnotic,
Makes me forget about you,
Just for a little while.
Something about going to dust together,
Just her and I,
Have no time to think about you anymore.
It’s just her and I now.
She hypnotizes me,
And for three minutes and fifty-three seconds,
I forget about you and your neglect of me,
And all is bliss.
It’s all so fuzzy,
Yet crystal clear.
Her song doesn’t last forever,
So I put it on loop,
And hope that the few seconds of silence,
That haunt the spaces between,
Won’t be enough to let you seep back into my mind.
“Hey kids,
Into dust together”
-Molina

So we’ll go to dust together,
Just her and I,
And maybe then,
I won’t have to think about you anymore.
