Wooster has reinstated the traditional Scottish Highland Dance program. A part of the College’s culture since 1976, the program was discontinued in 2021. Interested students may take private lessons and/or enroll in the Highland Dance Student Ensemble. Once dancers are ready, they can perform with the Scot Symphonic Band or Pipe Band.

Lowry Dining Hall has changed their hours to be open until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to accommodate student athletes and others with later evening schedules.

Knowlton Science Cafe and Old Main Cafe will now be open 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday, closing earlier than in years past.

Monday, Sept. 8 was the 155th anniversary of the College opening its doors.

Over the summer, The College of Wooster partnered with Ready Education, a company that aims to improve student communication and engagement through digital scheduling and networking.

Flu shots are available at Longbrake Student Wellness Center by appointment or through the clinics on Sept. 22, 25 and 29 and Oct. 16, 23 and 30 from 2-4 p.m. in Lowry G42. These will be billed through students’ insurance or, if insurance does not cover part or all of the shot, through their student account.
