Scot Council met for their first weekly general assembly of the semester on Monday, Jan. 22. 

  • Received and reviewed funding requests from the Disability Advocacy & Support Alliance (DASA) and the Dead Philosophers Society.
  • The Historical Fencing Club’s constitution passed.
  • Campus Dining is working on making their international dishes more authentic and improving food boxes for athletes at meets and competitions. 
  • Missions and Outcomes, which meets twice a year and provides students the opportunity to connect with members of the board of trustees, has been scheduled. At this time, no formal announcement has been made about when the trustees are visiting campus, but an event has been made named “board of trustees” by the President’s Office for the weekend of March 2. 
  • Sound-proof testing rooms are in the works within the Academic Resource Center.
