Meg Itoh News Editor Investigation into the bomb threats received by the College on Dec. 7 is ongoing. According to Steve Glick, Director of Security and Protective Services (SPS), the Wooster Police Department (WPD)’s investigation of the bombthreats is proceeding with assistance from SPS as necessary. Card swipe to access academic buildings, which became required after the bomb threats were received, is no longer necessary beginning Jan. 18. “After several conversations during the break, [the] cabinet decided it was appropriate to resume normal building operations this semester,” said Glick. Glick explained that normal building operations had resumed for certain buildings over winter break. “We actually returned the administrative buildings back to their normal operations during break and moved forward with the same for the academic buildings at the start of the semester,” he said. “We also are looking at several different options to increase our security measures on campus including additional cameras,” said Glick.
