A fire destroyed a playground for special needs children at Bexley park in South Euclid, Ohio on Monday night.† According to the Plain Dealer, nearby residents reported seeing flames around 7 p.m.†† Flames that burned all of the playground equipment and rubberized playing area reached up to 30 feet in the air.† The playground was built by volunteers in 2008 and cost $250,000. It was the only playground in the area for special needs students. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
