Police chief resignation sparks questions
Creston Police Chief Phil Carr put in his resignation as chief,† effective April 23.
Carr told The Daily Record that he plans on moving and that “the area we have decided to move to will make it impossible for me to continue to work here.” However, some Creston residents such as Suzanne McKenna and Robert Strickler alleged to The Daily Record that Carr’s resignation is not voluntary. Carr responded by stating he wasn’t in a position to comment until April 23.
