Arizona voters have approved the medical marijuana law, CNN reported Monday. The vote made Arizona the 15th state to pass a medical marijuana law since 1996.† The law allows patients with debilitating medical conditions to use cannabis if they have a recommendation from their physician.† In the same article by CNN, Rob Kampia, the executive director of the Marijuana Policy Project said “Voters in Arizona have sided with science and compassion while dealing yet another blow to our nation’s cruel and irrational prohibition on marijuana.”
