CAMPUS SAFETY: Shawn Starowesky, director of campus safety and emergency management, confirmed with the Voice that officer Fred Todd is no longer employed with the College. The nature of his departure was not shared due to human resources regulations within the College.

RESIDENCE LIFE: Director of Residence Life John Reynolds shared information about the office’s new lock-out policy. After three consecutive lockouts in a semester, student accounts will be charged $25 for each following instance where a student locks themselves out of their room without their student identification card. In the email, he explained that the increasing number of lock-outs  “impact[ed] our ability to efficiently assist all students.” The office of residence life has also added additional staffing to assist students in a more timely manner with lock-outs.
